Stephan Gabet recently published an article in BMC Public Health on the COHESION study led by Grégory Moullec. The article details the implementation of a survey protocol, which includes a series of questionnaires aimed at better understanding the mental health impacts of COVID-19 across Canada.
Between May 2020 and September 2021, monthly nationwide surveys captured unique information on housing, sleep, mental health, isolation, substance use, and perception and adherence to COVID-19 transmission prevention measures, among 1,268 individuals. In addition, the interactive mapping questionnaire VERITAS enabled researchers to collect information on daily mobility and social interaction at a time when peoples’ daily habits were disrupted. Statistically significant variations were observed in anxious and depressive symptoms as well as psychological distress during this period.
Polygon’s ASI* and GSI* tools were used to collect longitudinal data for this study, throughout a total of 18 survey waves. Read the full article published on December 2, 2023, in BMC Public Health.
