We’re proud to announce that Polygon has co-authored an article on research led by Beatriz H. Carlini of the University of Washington’s Addictions, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI) as part of Project Balance.
The concept mapping exercise used in the study showed that stakeholders from community and professional groups supported environmental policy changes such as taxation, increasing the minimum age for high-concentration cannabis products, and advertising prohibition. Meanwhile, cannabis advocates (mostly industry actors) opposed taxation per THC content, proposed lowering taxes, and supported policies with lower population impact such as educating parents, teachers, and youth.
Polygon contributed to this project by providing the research team with our CM* tools and support solutions for data analysis. Polygon also created a visual identity and provided promotional material for this study.
