In addition to our data collection and analysis tools, Polygon offers personalized support solutions tailored to each of our client’s projects.
When we meet a client for the first time, we make it a point to explain our approach even before presenting the tools we offer.
Our philosophy at Polygon
“Tell us about your project” is often how we begin our initial discussions with clients. It may seem simple, but it is at the heart of our process: to truly partner with you, we need to understand the intricacies of your project. We don’t just cover the basics. We apply the fundamental principles of service design: listening and empathy.
A fresh perspective on your project (or The art of digging deeper)
Initially taking a fresh perspective on your project allows us to dig deeper and better understand it. What are you seeking to understand or achieve? What are your concerns about implementing the project? How have you approached similar projects in the past? What criteria did you use to choose your methods? Who are the stakeholders, and what role will they play? Who will you need to work with? These are just some of the questions we like to ask. We’re curious and we question everything. Silences don’t bother us. Sometimes we seek out inconsistencies! Our priority is to analyse the project from every angle in order to design the best solutions.
Custom solutions
No, we don’t offer turnkey or ready-made solutions in a “kit”. Experience has shown us that each research project is unique and cannot be pigeonholed. For example, two cohort development projects may seem similar at first glance, but their scientific, technological, communication and logistical needs are likely to be quite different in the end. Similarly, two public consultations on related topics may seem to require the same solution, but the different target audiences will call for significant adaptations.
Polygon positions itself as a partner, and we aim to get involved in your project as early as possible. Why? Because the earlier the involvement, the greater the flexibility to create solutions perfectly tailored to the project’s needs.
By engaging in partnerships through listening and empathy, we can activate all aspects of service design and offer a partnership that best meets the diverse needs of your project.
So tell us about your project, even if it’s a year away or still just an idea. We’re eager to hear from you and become partners in your project!
